Lesson Review: Principles Of Design and Color Theory

Color Space.  The three essential parameters hue, saturation, and brightness. A wide range of colors can be created by the subtractive  primary colors  of pigment ( cyan  (C),  magenta  (M),  yellow  (Y), and  black  (K)). Those colors then define a specific color space. To create a three-dimensional representation of a color space, we can assign the amount of magenta color to the representation's X  axis , the amount of cyan to its Y axis, and the amount of yellow to its Z axis. The resulting 3-D space provides a unique position for every possible color that can be created by combining those three pigments. Lab Color Space. A   color-opponent   space with dimension   L   for   lightness   and   a   and   b   for the color-opponent dimensions, based on nonlinearly compressed   CIE XYZ color space   coordinates.  The dimensions of the   Hunter 1948  L ,  a ,  b  color space   are   L ,   a , and   b .   However,   Lab   is now more often used as an informal abbreviation

Rule Of Thirds.  Guidelines that helps you adjust and align the subject with the intersecting lines like the picture below. It can be used to visual images like photographs, designs, films, and paintings. With the help of technique "Rule of Thirds," it helps your images not have a dull image into this interesting photograph. Today we talked about the basics of photoshop. First, the general preference shows the common features of the program. Mr. Rey Mendoza our prof. taught us about Principles of Design.  He first introduces himself and then asked us to introduce our selves. He asked Name, Where are we from, and Why MMA? Then later on discussed cave paintings, hieroglyphics, and the painters of the renaissance period . He talked about the color purple ; why is it royal and what does it mean, Color purple means royal, vain, feminine, and melancholy. He said that yellow compliments the color yellow.  Solving the problem. Who is the audience? What are the budget and timeline? Who is the audience? He talked about "who are the ones who will see it?" If its a website then who are the target audience or who will look at the website. What are the budget and timeline? The budget, How much is the estimated cost for your service and the spendings. The Timeline,  how long will it take, the design? When is the deadline? Who will you submit it?
